Were You An Angel?

Be not forgetful to entertain strangers:

for thereby some have entertained angels unawares.

Hebrews 13:2

We wondered were you an angel?

When you walked through our front door.

You touched our lives in so many ways -

Made them different than before.

We could see that you had been with Jesus,

Your beaming face - it glowed so much.

Our spirits were rekindled by grace

And our hearts were truly touched.

You spoke to us of God's great love

And shared precious promises from His Word.

Our faith was strengthened by your child-like trust

And by the message of hope we had heard.

We had wonderful times of fellowship

With our Heavenly Father and His Son.

Of all the blessings the Lord has sent our way

There's no doubt that you were one.

Were you an Angel?
