Our Purpose:

This website groups together several Independent, Fundamental, Bible Believing, King James only, Baptist websites with the purpose of bringing honour and glory to the only one deserving: our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ. Whether therefore ye eat, or drink, or whatsoever ye do, do all to the glory of God. 1 Corinthians 10:31 And whatsoever ye do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God and the Father by Him. Colossians 3:17 And He is the head of the body, the church: who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead; that in all things He might have the preeminence. Colossians 1:18 The two ways we seek to achieve this are: 1. By bringing the good news of salvation to the lost (that is those who have not accepted Jesus Christ as their personal Saviour and do not know for sure that if they were to die today, they would go to Heaven). And He said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature. Mark 16:15 2. By freely making available studies, poems and stories, and more, for Christians to be strengthened and drawn closer to our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ. And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto Me in heaven and in earth. Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Our Church People's Baptist Church, Pastor Claude Madle, 710 Lawson Ave. Kelowna, British Columbia,  Canada, V1Y 6S8 Tel: (250) 765-1020 We have been blessed with a wonderful Man of God. Pastor Madle cares enough about the flock that God has given him to preach "the whole counsel of God", "in season, out of season". He has been under the teaching of other great Men of God and has in turn, sought to pass on the wisdom gleaned from them. He is an Oklahoma Baptist College graduate and planted People's Baptist Church in 1993. A site with many poems and pages that will touch your heart, strengthen your spirit, and draw you closer to our Lord Jesus Christ. If you are seeking comfort for sorrows, strength for today, faith to endure trials, or promises to claim, here is the place.   Angela Trenholm: She is the home-schooling mother of six mostly charming children, and the wife of Lowell, an industrious man who has no end of household projects on the go (and he finishes them too!). She is the brains behind this joint venture and has tremendous talents with graphics and webpage layouts. I taught her basic HTML and she taught me how to improve my WebPages! She is also my main source of critique for my poems and pages on my poetry site. She definitely has a heart for God and His Word, and this is one of many avenues she is using to share the Gospel of salvation with the lost world around us. Micki Harjo:  Supportive helpmeet, mother, missionary, dedicated soulwinner to the Navajo Indians ... Micki has been a great source of inspiration to me. From our first meeting online at Lilacs and Butterflies IFB ladies group in 2002 (which she is the founder of when it used to be part of yahoo) to our co-founding the new Lilacs and Butterflies Message Board in Spring 2005, we have been spiritual sisters whom the Lord has used to draw each one closer to himself. It is for ladies who desire to learn more of the Bible from others ladies, or for IFB ladies to be part of a WebRing and/or message board, to encourage, exhort, teach and disciple each other in the Lord. At the message board, we host a yearly teaching "spectacular", kinda like a ladies retreat, but online. These studies, poems, devotions, songs, etc. eventually get posted on the L&B pages for all to benefit from.   Kate Plourde:   Kate Plourde is a loving helpmeet, awesome mother and treasured God-given friend. She loves the Lord with her whole heart and seeks to serve Him daily. She is a soul winner and spiritual mentor. (Jackie)   I have the privilege of knowing Kate since 2000 and I cannot say how much I appreciate her godly testimony and her "patient waiting for Christ" in the face of much adversity. This collection of the Martin Bible in web-page format was created with the hope that God's Word in the French language (based on the Textus Receptus) could be liberally distributed. It contains a very in depth search function, similar to Bible programs, enabling the search of any word, or multiple words, within the entire Bible, or a specific book. Each individual book/chapter are easily accessible from the general index.
